Today is National Pet Day....is this another Hallmark holiday? or Kodak moment?
As far as I'm concerned everyday is a doggone pet day!

Wake up ...kiss my mom (check)
Breakfast, the most important meal of the day (check)
Nap for an hour or more (check)
Potty break (check)
Bark in the backyard to say Buenos Dias to the neighbors (check)
Roll in the grass (check)
Midday snack (check)
Potty break (check)
TV (yes, I watch TV...favorite show....Say Yes to the Dress
Dinner time (check)
Take another snooze (check)
Keep mama company (check)
Potty break (check)
Crawl into bed (yes the REAL bed) and pull the cover over my head (check)

Rinse and Repeat

Can someone tell me "why" today is National Pet Day??
